Knapps Loch

I was trying something different here, This is 3 Raw conversions from the same file combined in dynamic photo HDR and then noise reduction in Neat Image. This is the loch where I caught the 2 swans posted last week. I have also posted images from here in the past taken from almost the same spot but showing the old fishing club hut. The hut has now been replaced by a nice new one but is not as attractive to photograph so I left it out of this image. The previous image can be seen here.

This shot has ooodles of potential Peter, the composition is spot on and the colours just beautiful but something has happened to parts of the shot, either when taken or during the editing. There are, for want of a better phrase, blurry bits, that spoil the effect, noticeably in the fence and also the trees. This may be due to a long exposure and a strong wind blowing, but as there is no exif data I can only guess.
Definitely worth another try Peter or even just a straight image 'cos as I said earlier......OOOoodles of potential.

Now, as it happens George, I do have another version of this without the blurry bits and I was wondering which version to post The blurring appeared when messing about with the image in Neat image, and i quite liked it, I don,t know why, It just grew on me the more I played with it. I will post the other version later if people are interested in comparing the two.

It's a bit like the proverbial "curate's egg" - good in places. I like the composition very much and the bright colours, too. I think the little patch of trees to the top right is lovely - the blurring effect has worked well there. Not so keen on the same effect on the fence, though. I'll look forward to seeing the other version.
