Great Langdale
I mentioned recently that I've got three trip to the Lake District planned for this year; this valley will be the base for two of the trips. My week in May sees me in Chapel Stile just off to the left of this shot. For our Boys' Bike Weekend in June, we are staying at the hotel at the end of the main track shown here going straight up the valley. Behind the hotel the main peaks of the Langdale Pikes can be seen. Carry on up the valley and lost in the clouds is Bowfell; a superb mountain. Follow the skyline back to the left and there is a pass which has Blea Tarn in it. You've seen that several times from me before and you may expect to see it again before the end of the year!

A fantastic viewpoint Alan, With great colours and composition. The lighting falling on the green fields is great, giving lots of shades of green. (reminds me of a Johnny Cash song ) and leading through the image to the distant hills, topped of with a nice sky. Great image.

Now how can I better Peter's comment...ehh? no way, he sums it up so eloquently and spot on too The little Panny comes up trumps again delivering a cracker of a shot, lovely colours and pin sharp front to back, excellent shot indeed.
