An assignment suggested by Bigbob. Take a picture that depicts the title "Saving the Planet" This could be things already in place or things that need to be done but it must show an effect on the environment and either destruction or preservation. Pictures of old buildings or ruins is not enough, unless it is part of preservation.

The image must be taken between today November 1st, and 31st January and therefore the EXIF must show when it was taken. All images must be uploaded before January 14th and voting will start on january 15th until February 2nd.

The subject for this assignment is Isolation. The image should display an isolated subject, this can be done with depth of field, light, composition but when the viewer looks at it the the main subject must stand out one way or another.

The subject for this assignment is Implied Lines. Both these assignments deal with important areas of composition. Implied Lines are lines that are not necessarily natural, for instance the horizon in a landscape is a natural line of composition, as are sides of buildings. Implied lines are lines that may draw the eye to a subject, like a line of trees, lines formed by clouds or in water or sand.
