Like Keith I've been off-site for a while. I've had a number of operations to reconstruct my face which took a lot out of me. Luckily almost finished now. May get my sight in my left eye back next week.
I've just ben feeling tooo drained.

Definitely no apologies needed Anne, after what you have gone through its so nice to see your post, and that you are well enough to post some images, I sincerely hope the worst of the operations are over, that you go on to make a full recovery,
good luck and best wishes for next week, may the New Year be kinder to you,
take care,

As usual the Wizard says everything I feel, but says far better than I can, so all I can do is echo his comment Anne, and do look after yourself, take care. _________________ George

Thanks guys. Will never completely recover as I'll always have the artificial palatte and no bone to hold my eye up. This means the muscles are likely to get tired and so often feel a bit sore.
I can live with it but it's a bit annoying at times.
With most if not all my sight back in my left eye I might be able to relax a bit more. |

Crikey! I'm sorry to hear of you troubles, Anne, but good to hear that things are getting better. I hope very much that it continues to do so and that you are as comfortable as possible.
Good to have you back again. _________________ Alan

I'm a bit late here Anne and all that is left for me is to echo the fine words of our esteemed colleagues. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Regards

The operation is over. Have most of my sight back, but also some double vision. I had been told to expect that for a while.I'm due to see my surgeon on the 29th. _________________ You're only young once, so make it last a lifetime |

Good news indeed Anne and the prospect I hope is also good. Now rest a while and regain your strength and not to much on here easy does it. _________________ George
